So first of all, the taxes that we're filing right now are for nonprofits who make $50,000 or less per year. It's a specific filing called form 990-n, also known as the e postcard. The beautiful thing about it is that it's the size of a postcard and it's electronic, and it's free. You submit this and it's that easy. If you have gross revenue of $50,000 or less per year, you most likely qualify for this filing. Check the link below for more information. It has information about who needs to file and their due dates. You need to know if you're on a calendar year or fiscal year, and based on that, the page will provide you with the due dates. Further down the page, you will find information on FAQs and other relevant details. Go ahead and read through this. The IRS has made it easy to understand, and it's in English. Now, let's file the 990-n. To do this, click the link below. It will take you to the login page. If you don't have an account, sign up. It's free and easy. If you already have an account, like me, just login and proceed. Setting up your e postcard profile is necessary for the filing process.
