Instructions and Help about When Form 990 Schedule H Part V Section B

Happy belated new year everyone. It's 2016 tax time. I am getting a lot of calls from my clients asking me when their 1099s will be available and where they can access them quickly. Schwab has promised to have all the 1099s available by February 15th. Some of them are actually available now and I will show you how to access and download them in this quick tutorial. To access your 1099 tax form reports for the year 2016, go to schwab.com. You will see the login option at the top right of the screen. Enter your user ID and password, and then click login. Once logged in, you will be taken to the summary screen where it should default to showing all Schwab accounts. Your accounts will be listed below. To access the reports, click on the toolbar and select "history and statements". Then, go to "statements and reports" and scroll down to "tax forms". Make sure the default option is set to "all brokerage accounts". If you have an individual retirement account, traditional IRA, or Roth IRA with no distributions for the calendar year, there will be no tax report issued for that account. However, if you have taken money out of the IRA in 2016, a 1099 will be issued. Once you have selected the right options, click "view" to see the report. Save it to your computer and print it out. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to me. I'm here to help you get these reports as quickly as possible. Have a great day.
